Some memorable songs and albums by veteran rock artists are among the 2019 class of Grammy Hall of Fame inductees, including recordings by Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne and The Troggs.

Each year, a Recording Academy committee chooses select works to be inducted, as part of its “commitment to preserving and celebrating timeless recordings.”

The songs being honored include Aerosmith’s 1975 hit “Walk This Way,” The Troggs’ 1966 classic “Wild Thing,” Link Wray‘s influential 1958 instrumental “Rumble” and Canadian singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen‘s often-covered 1984 song “Hallelujah.”

Albums being inducted include Petty’s smash 1989 solo album Full Moon Fever and Jackson Browne’s 1972 self-titled debut.

Overall, 25 recordings are being inducted, raising the total number of Grammy Hall of Fame recordings to 1,088.
