Matt Baron/ShutterstockFew rock stars have taken the kind of fashion risks that Elton John has during his career, so it makes sense that the music legend’s life would provide the inspiration for a challenge on the new season of Project Runway.

The show will return to its original home on Bravo starting March 14, with host Karlie Kloss, mentor Christian Siriano and judges Nina Garcia, designer Brandon Maxwell and journalist Elaine Welteroth as judges. Sixteeen contestants will compete for a chance to win $250,000 and mount a runway show of their designs for fashion insiders.

As with many reality shows, there will be a number of themed challenges and special guests on Project Runway this season, and one of those challenges, according to Bravo, will be inspired by Elton’s upcoming biopic, Rocketman.

Considering that we’ve already seen actor Taron Egerton, who’s playing Elton in the movie, decked out in an array of outrageous outfits in the movie’s trailer, the challenge sounds like it’ll be quite entertaining.

There’s no word on whether Elton himself will be on the show, but since other celebrities, including actress Danielle Brooks and rapper Cardi B, will be making guest appearances this season, it’s not out of the question.

Rocketman, starring Egerton, Bryce Dallas Howard, Richard Madden and Jamie Bell, arrives in theaters this May 31.
