The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will be joined by a special guest — Grammy-nominated rap star Post Malone — at the show, which takes place two days before the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams face off in Super Bowl LIII.

This marks Aerosmith’s first live performance since last August at the MTV Music Awards, where the band also teamed up with Post Malone during the ceremony’s finale.

The concert will be guitarist Joe Perry‘s first performance since he collapsed backstage after a guest appearance at a Billy Joel concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden. After the incident, Perry was hospitalized for several days and was diagnosed with pulmonary issues.

Aerosmith’s most recent full-length concert was its May 2018 headlining set at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Looking ahead, the band also will performing in Hollywood February 10 at frontman Steven Tyler‘s second annual Grammy Viewing Party benefit to raise money for Janie’s Fund, the charity he co-founded to help young women and girls who have been victims of physical and sexual abuse.

Then, on April 6, Aerosmith launches its Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency at Park Theater at the Park MGM resort. The band has two nine-show engagements scheduled in Vegas, the first running from the 6th through April 26 and the second from June 19 through July 9.
