The British guitar great has announced plans for a North American trek dubbed Finale — The Farewell Tour, which kicks off June 16 in Catoosa, Oklahoma, and is mapped out all the way through an October 12 concert in Concord, California.

Frampton’s special guest during most of the 50-date outing will be Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, while Peter’s son Julian Frampton will be an additional opening act for the shows taking place on the West Coast.

An exclusive interview with Frampton about his farewell tour will air Saturday, February 23, on CBS This Morning.

Tickets for most of the shows will go on sale to the general public next Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com. Citi card members will be able to buy pre-sale tickets starting this Tuesday, February 26, at 10 a.m. local time via the company’s Private Pass program. VIP packages will be sold at Frampton.com.

Peter reached the height of his popularity with his 1976 concert album, Frampton Comes Alive!, which topped the Billboard 200 chart for 10 non-consecutive weeks that year. The double-disc collection yielded three big hits — “Show Me the Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way” and “Do You Feel Like We Do” — and has been certified eight-times platinum in the U.S.

Frampton toured with the Steve Miller Band in 2017 and 2018. In January, he took part in the star-studded “I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell” concert at The Forum in Inglewood, California, and was presented with the prestigious Les Paul Innovation Award at the 2019 edition of the music-equipment conference The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.
