UMEDuff McKagan has announced the details of his next solo album. It’s called Tenderness, and will arrive on May 31.

Tenderness features the previously released title track, as well as a new song called “Chip Away,” which you can download now via digital outlets.

“‘Chip Away’ is somewhat of a rail against cable news and divisive agendas…all for the almighty dollar,” says McKagan in a statement. “The song also highlights the fact that history repeats itself over and over, and that we will all get past this, together.”

The Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver bassist will kick off a U.S. tour in support of Tenderness May 30 in Philadelphia. Visit DuffOnline.com for ticket info.
