Aerosmith will get back in the saddle in a big way Saturday, when the rock legends kick off their new Las Vegas residency at the Park Theater at Park MGM.
The show, dubbed Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild, features never-before-seen visuals and audio from the band’s recording sessions, and is described as “one of the most immersive, state-of-the-art audio and video technology experiences in Las Vegas.”
A total of 35 Vegas dates have been scheduled — nine in April, five in June, four in July, four in August, four in September, four in October, seven in November, and two in December.
A new preview video promoting the residency is streaming now on Aerosmith’s official YouTube channel. The clip gives a peek at the band members rehearsing at the theater, as well as a glimpse of frontman Steven Tyler recently celebrating his 71st birthday, which was March 26.
Meanwhile, Aerosmith also will take the “Deuces Are Wild” show on the road in August, with multiple-night engagements booked at MGM properties in National Harbor, Maryland; Atlantic City, New Jersey; and Springfield, Massachusetts.
In addition, the band has lined up two headlining festival appearances this summer, including a just-announced July 14 performance at the Roxodus Music Fest in Edenvale, Canada. The other show takes place July 19 at the Twin Cities Summer Jam in Shakopee, Minnesota.
