Proceeds from the event benefit organizations that aid homeless people in the Los Angeles area — the Get Together Foundation, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission and the Midnight Mission.

The lineup also features various acclaimed session and touring musicians, including guitarists Albert Lee, Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar and Waddy Wachtel, and bassist Leland Sklar.

The event’s house band is The Tribe, a collective of respected musicians and singers that frequently team up with various artists to play shows to benefit charities.

The first California Saga concerts, which also benefited the Get Together Foundation, were held in June 2016 at El Rey Theatre in L.A. Performers at those two shows included Carnie Wilson, The Strawberry Alarm Clock and ex-Doobie Brothers guitarist Jeff “Skunk” Baxter.
