Yearwood teased the news last week during CMA Fest at a Nashville showcase at Blake Shelton‘s Ole Red Nashville venue after she performed “Walkaway Joe,” her hit 1992 duet with Henley.

“Don Henley sang on that record. That was cool,” she told the crowd. “He might be on the new album too, just FYI.”

Trisha added, “Okay, so anyway, I’m not supposed to say that. Moving on.”

In addition to “Walkaway Joe,” Henley also sang with Yearwood on the title track of her 2001 album, Inside Out.

At the showcase, Yearwood revealed that her next album is expected out in late summer or early fall, and then performed the record’s first single, “Every Girl in This Town.”

As for Henley, he’s currently on tour with The Eagles in Europe. The band’s next show takes place tonight in Copenhagen, Denmark.
