Credit: David WooSteve Miller Band will visit Las Vegas this fall for their first residency at Wynn resort and casino’s Encore Theater. The three-show engagement is scheduled for October 2, 4 and 5.
Tickets for the “An Evening with Steve Miller Band” concerts go on sale to the general public this Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. PT at the Wynn Las Vegas box office, at WynnLasVegas.com or by phoning 702-770-9966. Pre-sale tickets will be available via Ticketmaster.com starting Wednesday, July 10, at 10 a.m. PT.
As you’d expect, the concerts will feature the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and his band playing such classic hits as “The Joker,” “Jungle Love,” “Rock’n Me,” “Abracadabra,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Take the Money and Run” and “Jet Airliner.”
Miller and company currently are in the middle of a lengthy U.S. summer tour with support from veteran country act Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives. The trek is mapped out through an August 30-31 stand in Woodinville, Washington.
Steve Miller Band’s Las Vegas run will take place just before the group releases its recently announced Welcome to the Vault box set, which is due out October 11. The rarities-packed three-CD/DVD collection features 52 audio tracks — 38 of which are previously unreleased — as well as 21 video performances spanning from 1967 through 2011.
