This Sunday, August 4, Fogerty will appear on a CBS Sunday Morning segment focusing on the Woodstock festival’s upcoming 50th anniversary, and share some recollections about performing at the event.

Then, on Monday morning, the 74-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will play a medley of CCR hits with his backing band on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, August 8, Fogerty will take part in a Woodstock-themed conversation and performance event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. Respected rock journalist David Fricke will conduct the interview with John and with producer, archivist and writer Andy Zax, who helped put together the massive Woodstock — Back to the Garden: The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive box set.

Fogerty will close out the event with a special performance.

Fogerty’s new run of shows begins Friday, August 9, in East Providence, Rhode Island. On August 18, John will return to the site of Woodstock in Bethel, New York, to perform at the Bethel Woods Center of the Arts, almost 50 years to the day that Creedence rocked the famous fest. Supporting Fogerty at the show will be the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Grace Potter.

John’s 2019 itinerary also features a September 20 performance at the Bourbon and Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky; a five-date series of shows in Canada in October; and a six-concert Las Vegas residency in November.
