The trek’s opening act is visual artist David Garibaldi, who each night creates an original painting live onstage, depicting famous moments from the band’s 45-year history.  Fans attending the shows will have the chance to win the painting while supporting the Make-A-Wish foundation, via a partnership between KISS, Garibaldi and the contest platform Prizeo.

Fans can enter a drawing for the art piece by donating $10 through the new in-venue Prizeo Live! feature. Those who want to contribute more that that can earn bonus rewards, such as having personal messages appear on the big video screen at the venue of the show they’re attending.

“Make-A-Wish has been synonymous with making dreams come true for children whose time to dream and see those wishes come true may [in some cases] be sadly limited,” says KISS frontman Paul Stanley.

“KISS has worked with this great organization many times over the years and we are proud to find this meaningful way to contribute once again.”

Adds Garibaldi, “I’m beyond honored to perform as an opener for one of the most iconic bands in music history, and help KISS raise money for the admirable work Make-A-Wish is doing for so many families. It’s a mix of everything I live for: art, music and giving back.”

Through Prizeo Live! donations, KISS and Garibaldi have raised more than $120,000 for the charity to date.

The new leg of KISS’ End of the Road trek is mapped out through a September 20 concert in Los Angeles. Garibaldi will open all shows except for the band’s September 14 performance in West Valley City, Utah.
