Doors guitarist Robby Krieger has partnered with the Rock Against MS Foundation to raise funds for charity by selling high-quality, limited-edition prints of his artwork.

Among the paintings Krieger has created is one titled “Light My Fire” that was inspired by the classic song he co-wrote for The Doors. The prints, which are all signed by Krieger, are available in three different sizes and on either fine-art paper or museum quality canvas. You can buy one by visiting ArtforaCause.net and using the checkout code “RAMS.”

Funds raised will benefit the Rock Against MS Foundation and Robby’s charity, The Music Path, which was created to help empower and inspire young artists.  A series of red-carpet pop-up art shows featuring Krieger’s paintings are being planned as well.

“We are truly excited for this partnership,” says Rock Against MS Foundation founder Nancy B. Sayle. “All proceeds from our alliance will be earmarked to create music rooms in the Rock House MS support centers. Music is a great healer for the mind, body and soul.”

The Rock House centers are planned facilities that will offer a variety of free activities and programs designed to “heal the mind, body and spirit” of people with multiple sclerosis.

Meanwhile, Krieger has several concerts lined up in September, some of which will feature Mountain singer/guitarist Leslie West. A September 14 show in Westbury, New York, will see Robby performing with Leslie and with Edgar Winter.
