New Megadeth beer Saison 13 coming to US in September

Credit: Jeremy SafferMegadeth is once again teaming up with Quebec-based brewery Unibroue to create another signature beer.

The latest collaboration is a 6.1 percent ABV [Alcohol by volume] Belgian-style saison ale called Saison 13. The brew is available now in select Canadian provinces, and will be coming to the U.S. in September. “Saison ale” is a highly carbonated fruity, spicy pale ale.

Saison 13 follows Megadeth’s previous Unibroue beer, À Tout le Monde, which debuted in 2016.

In addition to helping create new beers, Megadeth has been working on a new album, the follow-up to 2016’s Dystopia. Frontman Dave Mustaine is continuing treatment for throat cancer, which he revealed he’d been diagnosed with in June.
