Time Life/Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Time Life/Rock and Roll Hall of FameCouldn’t get tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony?  Don’t have HBO?  Don’t worry — Time Life has you covered with a massive DVD collection of legendary moments from the annual ceremonies starting in 2010 and running through 2017.

Over 11 DVDs and 30 hours, the collection — called Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert —  features eight induction ceremonies, and 160 live performances from artists ranging from Sting, U2, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen, to Heart, Paul Simon, Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, Metallica, Alice Cooper, ELO and more.

The set is actually three separate collections: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame In Concert (2014-2017), Rock and Roll Hall of Fame In Concert — Encore (2010-2013) and the 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts.  Collectible booklets are included, as well as the 26-page Rolling Stone collector’s edition that documented the 2009 two-day 25th Anniversary Hall of Fame series of concerts.

In addition to all the live performances you’ll be able to watch all the induction speeches — sometimes emotional, sometimes irreverent, sometimes hilarious, but usually all three.  You’ll see Metallica’s Lars Ulrich inducting Deep Purple, Neil Young inducting Tom Waits and Coldplay’s Chris Martin inducting Peter Gabriel, as well as speeches from Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, Glenn Frey, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, John Mellencamp and more.

The whole package costs $100, and arrives September 10.  Here are some additional highlights:
