Genesis guitarist/bassist Mike Rutherford, Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres and veteran pop-rock singer Huey Lewis are among the music celebs competing at the 2019 edition of the annual Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which will take place September 26-29 at Scotland’s historic Old Course at St. Andrews and two other nearby courses.

The event features 168 teams, each pairing a professional golfer and an amateur player.  This will mark Rutherford‘s second time taking part in the tournament, Torres‘ 14th and Lewis‘ 11th.

Other notable participants at this year’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship include pop superstar Justin Timberlake; Linkin Park bassist Dave Farrell; actors Bill Murray, Hugh Grant, Kyle McLachlan, Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear; and heavyweight boxing champ Wladimir Klitschko.

The first three rounds of competition are held at the aforementioned Old Course at St. Andrews, as well as at Carnoustie Golf Links and Kingsbarns Golf Links, all of which are located within a few miles of each other in southeastern Scotland. The top 20 teams get to play the final round, which takes place at St. Andrews.
