earMUSICDeep Purple will release a new concert album titled Live in Rome 2013 on December 6. The record documents a July 2013 show the British hard-rock legends played at Italy’s Rock in Roma Festival.  The gig was part of the band’s tour in support of its then-latest studio album, Now What?!

The concert featured performances of four songs from Now What?!, as well as renditions of such Deep Purple classics as “Strange Kind of Woman,” “Perfect Strangers,” “Space Truckin’,” “Hush,” “Black Night” and “Smoke on the Water.”

Live in Rome 2013 is the second installment in Deep Purple’s Soundboard Series of official bootleg recordings. The album, which can be pre-ordered now, will be available as a two-CD set, a three-LP colored-vinyl collection and digitally.
