Paris Jackson went to a Metallica concert instead of prom

In a video for Vogue, the 21-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson reveals that she ditched her prom to see a Metallica concert instead.

“I never actually went to prom,” Paris says. “I skipped it to go see Metallica.”

Also in the video, Jackson says she went through an “insane” Mötley Crüe phase. “I’m still a heavy metal head,” she adds.

Jackson should have plenty of chances to see both Metallica and Mötley Crüe live next year: the former is playing two unique sets at the 2020 Epicenter, Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, Louder than Life and Aftershock festivals, while the latter announced just this week that they’re destroying their infamous “cessation of touring agreement” and getting back together.
