Can the state force it’s public workers to get the vaccine before being allowed back on the job? Attorney General Dana Nessel says she’s been looking into that but thinks the answer is yes. Nessel says it’s not uncommon.
“There are all kinds of circumstances already where you have to show proof of being vaccinated in order to attend. I see camps that do that. Certainly if you go to at certain countries they insist that you be vaccinated for certain things, and obviously for school.”
One issue is people who medically cannot get the vaccine. Nessel says she expects to have a final decision on the issue soon.
